Sports Therapy in St. Charles, IL

Athlete-Focused Injury Recovery

Getting injured in sports is an unfortunate reality for a lot of athletes. Physicians will commonly prescribe physical therapy for injured athletes, as this is the best way to safely get you back to playing the sport you love. Our Doctor of Physical Therapy will evaluate the acute injury and utilize both active and passive treatments to get you back on your feet. It's important to have great communication between the athlete, physical therapist, physician & coach to ensure that each athlete is being cautiously pushed to his or her potential, within the parameters of the injury and patient's pain tolerance. Athletes will undergo foundational strengthening with sport-specific training to decrease the risks for re-injury as they return to competition. Whether you are a high-level athlete or a weekend-warrior, feel free to reach out to our office for any of your sport-related injuries- we'd love to get you back to the competition stronger than ever.
